Sunny California

So, I'm here in Cali, the sun shining and the beer flowing like water. I can dig it. The condo's great, the weather's great, the alcohol is great, the shoes are great, life is great. I'm pretty much a happy camper. Don't really know what more to say right now, so I guess that's it for now. Is it raining in Norway by the way?

Here we go

I'm leaving the country the day after tomorrow to spend half a year in California. I've been told that I need to start a blog, so here we go.

I'm going to Cali with Andrew and Tor Erik. We're staying in Andrew's familiy's condo in Capitola, a sleepy sea-side village just outside Santa Cruz. So, what are we going to do over there? Well, it kinda depends on who's asking. If you're my professor or a member of my family, I'm going to do some research for my thesis. If you're not one of those, I'm going to have a long vacation and try to see as much as possible of the US of A. We're going to have tons of fun, and that's basically our only goal. Our plans for the following months are not ready, but include visiting my family in Hawaii, taking a road trip to Austin, Texas, getting to know San Francisco, maybe a trip to Mexico, maybe a trip to Canada and probably some more stuff that I forgot.

Anyway, enough for now.
